Reform New Party, New Future, New Choice, and Principles and Common Sense, the four forces of the third political force, have reached an agreement to merge and compete in the upcoming April 10th general elections. The merger agreement was announced during a joint press conference held at the National Assembly Communication Office on the afternoon of the 9th.
The unified party will be named the Reform New Party, with Lee Nak-yeon and Lee Jun-seok as co-representatives. The leadership will be called the Supreme Council, with one representative recommended by each of the four forces.
