Bank Distributes Commemorative Stamps of King Sejong the Great and Foreign Independence Activists, Promoting Korean History and Culture

BANK, a cyber diplomatic envoy, has distributed two types of commemorative stamps that honor King Sejong the Great and foreign independence activists. The stamps, which aim to promote Korean history and culture, include two types that highlight the influence of Hallyu stars in Korean history. BANK stated that through these commemorative stamps, both domestic and international individuals will become more familiar with Korean history and culture.

The stamps produced and distributed by BANK are designed in the form of “My Own Stamp.” “My Own Stamp” is a custom-made stamp by Korea Post, where organizations can request designs based on their preferences. These stamps are made into regular-sized postage stamps and can be used for standard mail.

Hallyu Star King Sejong the Great and Foreign Independence Activists

BANK collaborated with the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation to produce these commemorative stamps. King Sejong the Great has been selected as the number one Hallyu star in Korean history. Additionally, stamps commemorating foreign independence activists, Ernest Thomas Bethell and George Lewis Shaw, who were of British origin, have also been created.
