The main characters, “수창” and “경우,” struggle to make ends meet by resorting to stealing iron, yet they never lose their sense of humor. One day, “수창” embarks on a journey to North Korea alone in search of a better life for his family. However, the news of his long-awaited reunion with his loved ones is abruptly cut off. As time passes, “경우’s” son, “명기,” faces the challenges and perceptions of being a Korean-Japanese student in a Korean school.
