SPC Dunkin’ Donuts has unveiled their latest beverage, the “Yogurt Strawberry Latte,” as the drink of the month for January. This new addition features a creamy yogurt base topped with a delightful combination of tangy strawberries.
Building on their commitment to offering exciting flavors, Dunkin’ Donuts previously delighted customers with three berry-themed donuts as the “Donut of the Month” for January. The “Berry Cheese Dualfield,” “Berry Berry Sweetisty,” and “Pink Strawberry Munchkin” were all well-received by donut enthusiasts.
Meanwhile, SPC Group is actively recruiting new students for their renowned “Paris Croissant English Camp,” a program that offers comprehensive job support. Divided into three categories – pastry baking, food, and barista – the program provides 10 weeks of education. Upon completion, graduates have the opportunity to secure regular employment at various SPC Group brands, including Paris Baguette.
However, SPC Group’s management is currently under investigation by the prosecution in connection with allegations of unfair labor practices. The prosecution is looking into claims that the management pressured union members to withdraw from the labor union and subjected them to personnel disadvantages. There are also suspicions of attempts to destroy organized evidence, further complicating the case.
SPC CEO Hwang Jae-bok is facing his own legal troubles as he is being investigated on charges of providing bribes. This is not the first time CEO Hwang has faced legal scrutiny. In the past, he was investigated as a suspect in pressuring PB Partners employees to withdraw from the labor union. The prosecution is even considering expanding the investigation to other SPC subsidiaries, indicating the seriousness of the allegations.
