Jeju to Host Philharmonic Ensemble’s New Year’s Concert

January 10, Jeju – The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province’s Cultural and Arts Promotion Agency has announced that the Philharmonic Ensemble’s New Year’s concert will be held on January 10 at 7:30 PM. The performance will take place at the Jeju Cultural and Arts Center’s main theater, offering music enthusiasts the opportunity to experience world-class ensemble skills.

Philharmonic Ensemble’s Nationwide Tour

Composed of active members of the renowned Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonic Ensemble successfully concluded their New Year’s concert in Vienna on January 1. Following their performance in Jeju, the ensemble will embark on a nationwide tour, with upcoming shows scheduled in Seoul, Icheon, Uljin, Uijeongbu, Gyeongju, Gwacheon, and Wonju.

Founded in 2013 by violinist Shellen Dori, the Philharmonic Ensemble consists of 13 members, including 5 string players, 4 woodwind players, 3 brass players, and 1 percussionist. This ensemble, renowned for their exceptional musical talent, has received praise from critics for their performances.
