The 8th Korea Musical Awards, organized by the Korea Musical Association, is set to be a grand celebration of the country’s musical industry. In addition to the main awards ceremony, a series of diverse and exciting events have been planned to create a festive atmosphere.

Guerrilla Concerts and Masterclasses

The ‘On-Air Stage’ will feature an impromptu online guerrilla concert that is sure to surprise viewers. Alongside live performances by musical actors, there will be short talks. Interactive Events for Audience Participation

The ‘Awards Stage’ will encourage audience participation through interactive events. Attendees can find ‘Awards’ leaflets placed at various performance venues in Seoul and participate in surveys to have a chance to win awards and invitations. Additionally, visitors to the event cafe ‘Tas’ in Daehangno can receive prizes for purchases of 10,000 won or more. The ‘Awards Stage’ will continue from the 19th of this month until January 7th next year.

Forum Stage for In-Depth Discussions

On January 24th, the ‘Forum Stage’ will bring together experts and stakeholders from the musical industry to discuss the future direction of the Korea Musical Awards. This stage will focus on the development of the awards and its relevance to the musical industry.

Concert by Min Chan-hong

On January 29th, there will be a concert by Min Chan-hong, the winner of the 7th Korea Musical Awards Music Award.
