Introducing the ‘Great Quiz’ Platform to Explore Korean History through Quizzes

BANK, a cyber diplomacy envoy, has developed the ‘Great Quiz’ platform to promote learning about Korean history and culture. This platform, created for both Koreans and foreigners, aims to be recognized by universities with Korean studies and Korean language departments, as well as Korean language schools.

Platform Overview

When visiting the platform, users are greeted with a screen that says, “Know Korea, Share Together! We are the Republic of Korea!” The platform is divided into three menus: ‘Quiz Solving,’ ‘Quiz Creation,’ and ‘Characters and Rankings.’

Quiz Solving

In the ‘Quiz Solving’ menu, users can solve quizzes on five different topics: Global, History, Cultural Heritage, Dokdo/East Sea, and Reunification. Each topic consists of 10 levels, with 10 quizzes in each level. If users come across a problem they want to study further, they can save it by clicking the ‘Scrap’ button in the top right corner of the question and review it later on their ‘My Page’.

Quiz Creation

In the ‘Quiz Creation’ menu, users can create their own quizzes and also solve quizzes created by other users. Initially, the quizzes created by users are kept private and only become public after receiving approval from the administrator.

Characters and Rankings

In the ‘Characters and Rankings’ menu, users can see the levels they have achieved by correctly answering quizzes in each topic. They can also view the person who has obtained the highest score in the past month.

BANK is making efforts to provide an enjoyable learning experience of Korean history and culture for both Koreans and foreigners through the newly launched ‘Great Quiz’ platform. It is hoped that this platform will enable foreign teenagers and Korean teenagers to learn about Korean history and culture in an engaging way.
