Tsujii Nobuyuki’s extraordinary talent was recognized at a young age. In 2005, he received the Youngest Critic’s Award at the Chopin International Piano Competition. Four years later, he shared the top prize at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. In addition to his exceptional piano skills, Tsujii Nobuyuki has actively pursued a career as a composer. At the age of 12, he performed his own composition, ‘Corner of the Empty Street,’ and went on to compose numerous theme songs for Japanese films and dramas. His emotionally charged performance of ‘Elegy for the Victims of the Tsunami,’ composed in 2011, garnered significant attention.
