Library Company Announces Spectacular Lineup of Domestic Musicals and Plays for 2024

Library Company, a global live content company, has unveiled its lineup of domestic musicals and plays for 2024. The lineup includes a total of 11 productions, including 6 original works and 5 investment and distribution projects.

A Diverse Lineup of Productions

The upcoming year will showcase a variety of productions. The first to be presented is the musical play “Island: 1933~2019,” set to debut at the National Jeongdong Theater in May. Additionally, the highly popular Broadway play “Sound Inside” will open at the Chungmu Art Center Black in August. The grand theater original musical “Buchi-Hanan’s Well” (working title) will portray a romance between four characters, with performances scheduled at the Hongik University Daehakro Art Center Grand Theater in September.

In October, the mystery black comedy musical “One Day, Suddenly” (working title) will premiere at the University Road Dream Art Center 2. Furthermore, the original musical “Taylor” will tell the story of two tailors making clothes amidst a brutal war, with performances taking place at the University Road TOM 1 Theater. Playwright Park Cheon-hyu and composer Will Aronson have created “Maybe a Happy Ending” and are set to present their new musical “Ghost Bakery” at the Doosan Art Center Yeonhui Hall in December.

Collaborations with Project Groups

Library Company will collaborate with project groups ILDA, Never Ending Play, and Proslap for their works. With ILDA, they will present the play “Mending the Living” and another production. With Never Ending Play, they will showcase the musical “Bronze” and another work. Additionally, they will present the musical “Emile” in collaboration with Proslap.
