In a move to showcase South Korea’s history in the digital realm, Bank, a cyber diplomacy envoy, has established a MetaVerse exhibition hall dedicated to the ten independence activists. This exhibition hall aims to educate not only the youth of South Korea but also students from around the world about the achievements of these activists. By doing so, it hopes to promote their accomplishments globally and raise awareness about Korean history and culture.
The exhibition hall is designed based on the concept of the “Seodaemun Prison,” a significant location in Korea’s independence movement. It consists of various sections, including the introduction of the 1919 March 1st Movement and the 3.1 Declaration of Independence translated into twelve languages. Additionally, there is a section dedicated to introducing the ten independence activists and another highlighting their aspirations for a modern Korea, as envisioned a century ago.
One corner of the exhibition hall is dedicated to introducing the 3.1 Declaration of Independence, which is translated into twelve languages. This allows foreign visitors to understand and empathize with the significance of this declaration. Furthermore, visitors can watch videos of foreigners reciting the declaration and learn about the global historical importance of the 3.1 Movement through news reports from that time.
Another section of the exhibition hall focuses on introducing various independence activists. This provides visitors with an opportunity to learn about the dedication and contributions of Korean independence activists. In particular, it delves into the role and activities of student activists who emerged as key figures during the 1919 March 1st Movement.
The “Envisioning a Modern Korea Achieved by the Ten Independence Activists a Century Ago” corner allows today’s youth to imagine and write about the future of Korea, inspired by the dreams of these activists. This encourages young people to carry on the legacy of the independence activists and contribute to building a better South Korea.
Bank aims to use the establishment of the MetaVerse exhibition hall to raise awareness among South Korean teenagers about the heroic spirit of the independence activists. It also hopes that today’s youth will harness their power to bring about positive change for Asian peace and the global community.
Through the MetaVerse exhibition hall, Bank endeavors to promote Korean history and culture. By doing so, it seeks to highlight the remarkable achievements of Korean independence activists worldwide and empower South Korean teenagers to make a difference on the global stage.
