The Hanbat Library in Daejeon has announced the start of the ‘Book Start’ program, aimed at enhancing early childhood literacy. This program, targeting children aged 3 to 7, aims to cultivate a love for reading and provide a joyful experience for both children and their caregivers.

Understanding the Book Start Program

The Book Start program is a community-based cultural reading initiative that utilizes picture books. It focuses on helping children and their caregivers form a happy relationship through reading and facilitating their growth alongside books. Exciting Activity Schedule

As part of the Book Start program, Hanbat Library has organized various participatory activities. On October 12th and 19th, they will be hosting the ‘Sensory Book Play’ program. Renowned author and reading education expert, Baek Hwa-hyeon, will be the guest speaker.
