The 한세예스24문화재단 (HanseYes24 Cultural Foundation) has announced the launch of its third annual ‘Humanities Research Support Project.’ This initiative aims to provide financial support to domestic scholars in various fields of humanities research, contributing to the conservation and development of Korean cultural heritage.
The project invites PhD holders and above, as well as professors, lecturers, and researchers affiliated with universities and research institutes, to submit their research proposals. Independent researchers in non-social science fields are also eligible to apply. Selected applicants will receive a maximum research grant of KRW 12 million per project, totaling KRW 120 million annually.
Interested individuals can find the official announcement on the 한세예스24문화재단 website and submit their research proposals. Applicants must have at least two research papers published within the past five years in Korean Citation Index (KCI) journals or international academic journals (A&HCI, SCOUPS) as the first author. The foundation will conduct a thorough evaluation process, including review by an advisory committee, and announce the selected ten projects in August.
Baek Su-mi, the President of 한세예스24문화재단, emphasized the importance of humanities as a discipline that revives the spiritual foundation of our society and contributes to the reconstruction of social order. She expressed the foundation’s commitment to continuously raise awareness and support for humanities research through the Humanities Research Support Project.

The ‘Humanities Research Support Project’ is one of the foundation’s key initiatives, providing research funding to scholars in the field of humanities in Korea. This call for applications is expected to generate increased interest in humanities and contribute to the conservation and development of Korean cultural heritage.
