Jeju, South Korea – A special exhibition showcasing the works of French art masters Henri Matisse and Raoul Dufy is currently taking place in Jeju. Titled “Henri Matisse and Raoul Dufy: Travelers of Color,” this exhibition can be enjoyed at the Jeju Museum of Art until April 7.
Visitors to the exhibition can admire around 80 pieces of artwork by Henri Matisse, including his renowned masterpiece “Jazz.” This unique art book features 20 stencil prints and highlights Matisse’s exceptional artistic talent.
The exhibition also features Raoul Dufy’s monumental work, “Fairy of Electricity,” composed of 250 panels measuring 60m in width and 10m in height. Attendees can also appreciate Dufy’s 17 dresses inspired by his patterns, as well as his oil paintings, drawings, and prints.
The Jeju Museum of Art emphasizes that this exhibition provides a rare opportunity for visitors to see the works of French masters Henri Matisse and Raoul Dufy in one place, making it the first of its kind in South Korea. It also highlights the collaboration between the museum and Gaudi Museum Arts, ensuring a high-quality and prestigious exhibition.
