Kim Jong-hak’s ‘Untitled’ artwork portrays the four seasons of Seoraksan Mountain and was created in 1993. This artwork, sized 4-ho, is seeking a new owner with estimated prices ranging from 11 million to 25 million won.
The auction also features artworks by international artists, including Ayako Rokkaku’s ‘Untitled,’ Damien Hirst’s ‘1,3-Dicaprin,’ Alexander Calder’s ‘Dolmens,’ and Patrick Hughes’ ‘Open to Niagara.’
Several artworks by Korean artists are also showcased in the Korean painting and traditional art categories. Notable pieces include the controversial ‘Ibakamchuyangdojeyeong’ and ‘Baekjahoe,’ which gained attention due to the involvement of 24 prominent literati and the calligrapher Wi Chang Oh-se, as well as Unbo Kim Ki-chang’s ‘Cheongroksansu,’ Simjeon Ahn Jung-sik’s ‘Ohakdo,’ and Cheongjeon Lee Sang-beom’s ‘Chungyongsansu-Hagyongsansu.’
The exhibited artworks can be viewed free of charge at Keiauction’s exhibition hall from the 13th to the 24th of the month, without the need for prior reservation.
