Pianist Cho Sung-jin and conductor Simon Rattle are set to reunite for a joint performance in 2023. After a two-year hiatus, the duo will once again grace the stage, captivating the audience with their musical prowess.
Cho Sung-jin and Simon Rattle have previously shared the stage on multiple occasions. Their collaboration has garnered great acclaim, particularly their performances with the Berlin Philharmonic in 2017 and the London Symphony Orchestra’s concert in 2022.
The upcoming concert will feature Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9, conducted by Simon Rattle. Cho Sung-jin will showcase his talent through performances of Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2.
The collaboration between Cho Sung-jin and Simon Rattle has generated significant buzz. Notably, the 2022 concert was attended by Lee Jae-yong, Vice Chairman of Samsung Electronics, and his mother, Hong Ra-hee, former director of the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art.

La Fenice Orchestra, representing Italy, will hold their first concert in Korea in October 2023. Conductor Jung Myung-hoon and pianist Kim Sun-wook will join forces to deliver a memorable performance.
In October 2023, the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Antonio Pappano, and pianist Yuja Wang will captivate the audience.
French conductor François-Xavier Roth, founder of the Les Siècles ensemble, will perform at the Seoul Arts Center in November 2023. The renowned German cellist Sol Gabetta, making her first visit to Korea in 15 years, will also participate in this concert.
Rudolf Buchbinder, recognized as the “greatest living Beethoven specialist,” will visit Korea in June 2023. He will conduct the Lucerne Festival Strings, showcasing his exceptional interpretation of Beethoven’s works.
In July 2023, Kim Sun-wook’s piano recital and Clara Jumi’s violin recital in September 2023 will further enrich the classical music scene in Korea.
The “2024 Lineup” curated by Bincero will offer outstanding performances, providing music enthusiasts with diverse and memorable experiences.
