South Korean Nun Publishes New Poetry Collection ‘Sunlight Diary’ to Share Joy and Prayer

Sister Ihaein, a South Korean nun, has released a new poetry collection titled ‘Sunlight Diary’ after 8 years. The collection consists of 100 beautifully crafted poems. Divided into two parts, the poems were written during her illness.

Continuing to Illuminate with Candles

Despite her health challenges, Sister Ihaein continues to light candles with each passing season and writes heartfelt letters to us. She considers each person as a unique flower and embraces them with all her heart. Her letters, filled with thoughts of those who experience their own pain, serve as both a prayer and a ray of sunlight, as she reflects on the busyness of life and the constant search for something meaningful.

A Confession of Happiness

“I will confess, yesterday, today, and even tomorrow, that I was simply happy,” Sister Ihaein hopes that someone will remember her life as a single love letter.
