In a ceremony held at the 37th Korean Advertising Awards, Minister Yu In-chon of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented awards to 16 individuals who have made significant contributions to the advertising industry. Minister Yu stressed the need to elevate the creative spirit of advertising professionals, stating that without advertising, the world would be bleak. He emphasized that the hard work of advertising professionals should be acknowledged and respected. Additionally, he discussed the promotion of the Advertising Industry Promotion Act in a discussion with Representative Kim Seung-soo.
The government awards and commendations were presented to a total of 16 individuals, including one recipient of the Order of Industrial Service Merit, one recipient of the Order of Packaging Merit, three recipients of the Presidential Commendation, three recipients of the Prime Minister’s Commendation, and eight recipients of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Commendation. These individuals were recognized for their achievements and contributions to the advertising industry.
Congratulating the award recipients, Minister Yu stated, “Through collaboration, advertising professionals have achieved remarkable results. Today’s awards are a testament to the honor that all advertising professionals receive.”
